Day 1: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
After an early breakfast, depart from Kampala and head towards Murchison Falls National Park. This journey will take you through the beautiful Ugandan countryside, passing through small villages and towns along the way. Arrive at the park in the afternoon and enjoy an evening game drive to spot some of the park’s incredible wildlife.
Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park
Spend the day exploring Murchison Falls, National Park. Start with an early morning game drive to see animals such as elephants, giraffes, lions, and buffalo, among others. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Nile River to the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls. Along the way, you’ll have a chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, depart for Kibale Forest National Park, located in western Uganda. The journey will take you through rural villages and towns, giving you a glimpse into Ugandan life. Arrive in the afternoon and take a guided nature walk through the forest to see chimpanzees and other primates.
Day 4: Kibale Forest National Park
Today, you’ll have the opportunity to go on a full-day chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest National Park. This will give you the chance to get up close and personal with these fascinating creatures and observe their behavior in their natural habitat.
Day 5: Kibale Forest National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, stop at the equator for a photo opportunity and learn about the geographical significance of this landmark. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy an evening game drive in the park to see its diverse wildlife.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Spend the day exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park. Take a morning game drive to see animals such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kampala
After breakfast, depart for Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. Along the way, stop at the Uganda Wildlife Education Center in Entebbe to learn about the country’s wildlife conservation efforts. Arrive in Kampala in the afternoon and spend some time exploring the city’s cultural and historical landmarks.
